Where to buy tickets to see Celtics-Mavericks, best prices

From 2017-19, Dallas Mavericks star (and perennial, controversial NBA main character) Kyrie Irving was a major force on a competitive Boston Celtics team.

Likewise, Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis added a lot of value to the playoff-bound Dallas Mavericks from 2019-22.

Now, in a simple twist of fate, these two stars — who also happen to be career journeymen — will be meeting in the 2024 NBA Finals.

The series, which tips off at Boston’s TD Garden on Thursday, June 6, pits Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum’s number one-seeded Celtics against Luka Doncic and Irving’s underdog Dallas Mavericks who upset the Clippers, Thunder and Timberwolves to advance to the big dance.

As for Boston, they breezed through the postseason handily defeating the Heat, Cavaliers and Pacers, only losing two games in the process.

Who will come out on top?

Will it be the heavily-favored Celtics looking to score their first Larry O’Brien Trophy since the Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen “Big Three” 2008 squad?

Or is Dallas going to collect rings for the first time since 2011 during the Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler, Jason Terry era?

All we know is the best way to find out is live — and last-minute tickets are still available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for home games at Boston’s TD Garden was $600 before fees on Vivid Seats.

For those planning on attending at Dallas’ American Airlines Center, prices start at $747 before fees.

While that may sound expensive, it’s hard to put a price on witnessing hoops history IRL.

Want to see Jaylen, Jayson and Kristaps (who’s coming off the IL) duke it out against Luka and Kyrie?

About the Celtics vs. Mavericks

In the 2023-24 regular season, the Celtics and Mavericks met twice; Boston won both games.

Taytum and Brown led the way in their fist matchup on Jan. 22; the pair scored 39 and 34 points respectively on their way to a 119-110 victory. On the Mavericks side, Doncic dropped 33.

Their second game took place March 1. The Celts routed the Mavs 138-110 in that contest thanks to high-scoring efforts from Tatum, Brown and Porzingis. Once again, Luka played exceptionally well and scored 37.
