Step aside 12-foot Home Depot Skelly — there’s a new head ghoul in town. If the saying “I am not a jack-o-lantern. My name is Lewis.” is ringing any bells, that’s because Target’s pumpkin-headed figure with a heart of gold (and a bit of sass) effectively won over everyone’s hearts last Halloween. But real Halloween lovers know that shopping begins promptly after July 4, and this year Lewis is making his triumphant return with a new spooky cohort — and they’ve already sold out once already.

Even if it seems like Halloween is creeping up a little to early this year (beside’s Home Depot’s aforementioned collection of new haunts, another edition of Anthropologie’s Mystic glasses, Pottery Barn’s Gus the Ghost decor, and Joann’s slightly smaller 5-foot skeleton are available for pre-order now), we say there’s no such thing as too early! If you want more than just anecdotal enthusiasm, according to the National Retail Federation, 77% of Halloween celebrators plan to purchase new decorations, and half plan to shop as early as July.

Now that Lewis is back, returning for a second Halloween season and making Target history, their giant pumpkin king has a few new friends in tow. The lineup includes 8-foot-tall “Bruce the Skeleton Ghoul” with six sayings of his own (“Why does everyone think I’m grim? I’m living my best afterlife, baby! Wuohahahaaaa!”), a 40-inch Eighties aerobic ghoul “Pumpkin Iron Lewcy” who wants you to know she’s pumped for Halloween (“Let that ghoulish energy flow!”) and a pint-sized, 65-inch “Little Lewis” that brings the same sayings to smaller spaces.

Our favorite of the bunch is, of course, the 70-inch-tall Eighties rock ‘n’ roll pumpkin “Rocker Billy” who sings and “plays a mean green guitar”. (“Rocker Billy’s gonna make your bones chilly!”) His whole head (complete with a little Kiss face paint nod) lights up while he moves and makes creepy sounds for a spooky jam-season (we’re still not quite sure why his raw pumpkin dogs are out, though — are rockers notorious for barefootin’ it on stage?).

From appearances in national news outlets, to nearly 34 million views of the #MyNameIsLewis hashtag on TikTok last year, it’s no surprise that Lewis made his mark…by selling out within the first week. But the good news is you’ve still got your chance to get your hands on Lewis and the entire boo crew right now — but if might be a good idea to act fast before he disappears into the night again. Lewis is currently available on Target.com for $180, and he’ll be available for purchase in stores starting in late August (do you really want to wait until then, though?).

You can also get free shipping on Lewis and friends if you’re already a Target Circle 360 member — just pay with a Target Circle card or spend more than $35 using any payment method.
