Paul Mescal graces GQ’s November cover and opened up about how he handles internet rumours.
October 15, 2024- GQ has announced “Gladiator II” star Paul Mescal as their November cover feature as he discusses stunts, internet rumours, and fashion.

Mescal, who stars in Ridley Scott’s upcoming action-packed sequel “Gladiator II,” opened up to GQ about connecting his love for Gaelic football with the physical demands of the film.
“The only thing I will forever be angry at Ridley for is his deep desire to shoot at the f*cking peak of summer, as a pasty Irish boy who does not do well in the heat, in armour, covered in fake tan and sweat, rolling around,” Mescal told GQ.
Mescal also discussed how the upcoming film plays on the aspects of physical and emotional experiences.
“It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You’re allowed to watch it and still feel very masc and macho about it. But actually, the reason that film works is it’s an action drama,” Mescal continued.
Paul Mescal One Night Stand Rumours
Mescal was once the target of Tik Tok theories that he would run out on one-night stands after taking them for a walk in the park.
“Back last winter, there were rumours… We were looking at the videos and we were p*ssing ourselves at it. Categorically untrue,” Mescal said.
Mescal was also candid with GQ about how he sets boundaries with the public on his personal life.
“I’ve learned that there’s certain lines in the sand now for me that are just going to be impenetrable for the benefit of my own sanity,” Mescal said.
“How I am in my private life is so precious to me because I get very little of it, and it might be public interest, but it’s not public-obligated information,” Mescal continued.

Back in June, Mescal and singer Gracie Abrams first sparked dating rumours when they were seen dining together in London, according to PEOPLE.
Fast forward to August, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair are “hooking up,” and fans have continued to record the pair while they are seen in public outings.
