Meghan McCain is no fan of J.Lo
The political commentator, 39, recalled a past unpleasant experience she had with Jennifer Lopez, 54, on “The View” on the June 7 episode of her podcast, “Citizen McCain.”
“I, too, share similar negative stories that the entire world does,” said McCain. “I feel bad because we’re turning a point where there’s bullying happening to J.Lo. She just is a deeply unpleasant person.”
McCain said that Lopez exhibited diva behavior when the singer appeared on “The View,” which McCain co-hosted from 2017 to 2021.
“She had the biggest entourage I’ve ever seen,” McCain remembered. “More than Kim Kardashian and the president. I just don’t really understand why it was needed.”
McCain and her co-host Miranda Wilkins then claimed that Lopez went after their podcast after they shared a TikTok clip of of them talking negatively about her in April.
“She had our video taken down,” McCain alleged, adding that the video was eventually restored on TikTok.
“We’re beefing with her right now,” Wilkins said.
In the video from April, McCain said that the “Atlas” star “is in a PR mess” and talked about her visit to “The View.”
“I’m gonna get in so much trouble for this, but my big memory of J.Lo is there was a person whose entire job it was to hold up a mirror with lights while they were touching her up backstage,” McCain said.
“I remember being like, ‘That poor man. What a weird job.’ “
On the latest episode of “Citizen McCain,” John McCain’s daughter further slammed Lopez for her alleged behavior on “The View.”
“She was not nice. You don’t always have to be so nice, but it was surprising that people like Kim Kardashian couldn’t be more delightful. When you’re coming on a show for a 10-minute segment… just fake it till you make it for 10 f–king minutes.”
The Post has reached out to Lopez’s rep for comment.
Lopez has been in the headlines lately for reasons including the ominous signs that she and husband Ben Affleck are experiencing trouble in paradise.
The pair — who got married in 2022 — were not seen together for 47 days, and then reports came out that claimed they were experiencing major marital issues and are heading toward divorce.
Lopez refused to address the split rumors during a May press conference.
She later announced that she’s canceling her upcoming tour to spend more time with her family.
Most recently, the couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion popped up on Zillow, signaling that a divorce announcement may be imminent.
