Entertainment journalist Owusu Worae reacted to the news by highlighting that such accidents are common hazards for musicians and entertainers.
He explained that artists like Kofi Kinataa travel extensively for shows, especially during weekends and festive seasons. Given the condition of the roads in Ghana, this makes traveling particularly dangerous.
“There have been several instances in the past, and Kinaata’s accident will not be the last. With the type of roads we have and the recklessness often seen on them, it is always a risk to be traveling on land,” he said.
Worae also pointed out that while there’s little that can be done about the roads, it’s crucial to educate other road users about safety. He advised creatives to exercise caution while traveling. “We thank God for Kinaata’s life because it would have been a deadly blow had anything serious happened to him,” he added.
