Jordan Klepper Asks Trump Supporters About Harris on ‘The Daily Show’

Unfortunately, recent events mean that some of them have to retire their anti-Joe Biden gear

Jordan Klepper is back on the MAGA beat this week on The Daily Show. In his latest clip, Klepper heads to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to ask Trump supporters how they’re handling Joe Biden dropping out of the race and their thoughts on Kamala Harris stepping in as the Democrats’ presidential candidate.

Klepper kicks off the video by asking a Trump fan whether he’s sad the “F**k Joe Biden” chant has to be retired. “I’m sad because of all I’ve invested in this anti-Biden gear,” he tells Klepper, adding that he had “thousands of dollars’ worth.”

Elsewhere, Klepper investigates how Trump supporters can’t seem to pronounce “Kamala” correctly, how they feel about J.D. Vance, and how Harris apparently is worse than Saddam Hussein. (“The most anti-American candidate for president we’ve ever had,” one rally-goer quips about the VP.)

Klepper also addresses Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, and his “weird” line of attack on MAGA, questioning a supporter in a massive red hat about the idea of MAGA being “weird” and “unserious,” comparing the rallies to carnivals.

Earlier this week, Harris named Minnesota governor Walz as her running mate in the upcoming presidential election against Trump and Vance. “I am proud to announce that I’ve asked Tim Walz to be my running mate,” Harris wrote on Tuesday. “As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, he’s delivered for working families like his. It’s great to have him on the team.”

The pair held their first rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday night to a packed room. Walz told the crowd that it was his students who inspired him to get into politics. “They encouraged me to run for office. They saw in me what I was hoping to instill in them: a commitment of common good, a belief that one person can make a difference,” Walz said. “And because high school teachers are super optimistic, I was running in a district that had one Democrat since 1892.”
