How Knicks still can win series after Pacers’ Game 4 rout

It was only one game.

It was not the defining moment of the Knicks’ season. It likely will not be the low point of the playoffs, either.

It probably isn’t worth too much time to rehash the events of Sunday’s Game 4 in Indianapolis, where the Pacers steamrolled the Knicks, 121-89, to even the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Blowouts are known to exaggerate. Momentum is often an illusion. There is no greater example than Game 3 of the 2004 ALCS (Yankees 19, Red Sox 8).
