The Giants have a new throwback uniform.
In conjunction with a wide range of plans for their 100th anniversary season, the Giants unveiled Thursday a “Century Red” uniform that will be worn up to two times this season.
The old-school looking jersey top is mostly red with a blue center and white number. The helmet is red and blue, the socks are red with blue and white stripes and the pants are tan.
Giants’ red jerseys have been a hot topic among fans for a long time ever since they disappeared after a once-per-year appearance from 2004-07.
Well, now they are coming back with a twist.
