Britney Spears says she ‘misses’ her ‘absolutely beautiful’ family amid years-long feud

Britney Spears admitted she “misses” her family amid their years-long feud.

The pop singer took to Instagram Wednesday to lament over her “absolutely beautiful” family as she posted a photo of her mom, Lynne Spears, alongside her sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughters.

“We all have issues with our family but dear God you can’t help how much you love them,” she wrote. “I’m not in this picture but I sure as hell feel like I am.”

The family shot showed Lynne, 69, eating at a small kid’s table alongside Maddie, 15, Ivey Joan, 6, and other family members.

“On a side note … If you know me, I’ve always ended up at this kids (sic) table at every function I’ve ever been to !!!” Britney, 42, continued.

She added, “Anyways … I’m posting this pic because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them … I wanted to share this pic because although I’m not in it … I sure as hell felt as though I was !!!”

Britney’s rocky relationship with her family members has been ongoing since the end of her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021.

For years, the “Toxic” singer called out her family, especially her father, Jamie Spears, 71, who served as her conservator.

In her bestselling 2023 memoir, “The Woman in Me,” She slammed Jamie for controlling her life, making her out to be “too sick to choose [her own] boyfriend and yet somehow healthy enough to appear on sitcoms and morning shows, and to perform for thousands of people in a different part of the world every week.”

She alleged Jamie saw her to be “put on the earth for no other reason than to help their cash flow.”

Britney claimed that when her conservatorship started in 2008, her father said, “I’m Britney Spears now.”

The “Circus” singer also accused Jamie of body shaming and limiting her food intake to only chicken and canned vegetables.

While Jamie was at the forefront of the conservatorship, Britney also blamed her mom for standing by as she was forced into a mental health facility and pushed to go on tour.

In October 2022, the hitmaker bashed her family on Instagram for having “no conscious [sic] whatsoever and really believe in their minds they have done nothing wrong at all.”

At the time, a source close to the pop star told us she “feels more hurt by her mother’s inaction because they were always close.”

As for Britney’s younger sister, she called Jamie Lynn, 33, a “total bitch” in her memoir.

The “Gimme More” singer claimed she felt “betrayed” by the “Zoey 101” alum for monetizing off her pain by releasing the memoir, “Things I Should Have Said,” months before her conservatorship ended.

“As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalizing on it,” Britney wrote.

The “…Baby One More Time” singer also slammed her sister for developing a good relationship with their father instead of taking her side.

She recalled asking Jamie Lynn for help ahead of being admitted to a mental facility in 2018.

The “Sweet Magnolias” star allegedly told Britney, “Stop fighting it… There’s nothing you can do about it, so stop fighting it.”

However, Britney has maintained an amicable relationship with her brother, Bryan Spears, 47.
